Pretty Little Liars - Intro

So......let's get this started.....and a long way from being finished!!!

Let's start with my current craze...(and by craze I mean having this playing all day & all night)
Yes, I know it's already into its 4th season...but it's better late than never to write about this...right?!

American teen drama mystery-thriller television series on ABC Family

 Season 1 - Never trust a pretty girl with an ugly secret.

 Season 2 - Don't get ugly.  Get even.

 Season 3 - Time to bring your A game

Season 4 - Liars unite

OMG....I am so hooked on this series lately.
At first when I heard about this series, I was like..."Ummm, not another teen series.  I should be bored with it by Episode 3."
Nope, I was totally hooked in Episode 1 (damn you!!)

So what is attracting me to this?  I am constantly being attracted by things to do with "FRIENDSHIP".  (more on this later)

Here we are suppose to have 5 girls who are great friends, and by the end of the episode...we know only 4 of them is left.  Everyone have secrets and their secrets are about to be used against them.

The whole storyline is already setup in the 1st episode and as each episode goes on, its intriguing and attracts you to tune in every episode and follow their "adventure in finding the truth".

So....besides the mid-season finale & season finales....what is the episode fans are dying to watch??  It's the Halloween episodes.  Just watching it for the costumes is a treat in itself

The Liars

Spencer Hastings

Main Character from Season 1 - 4

Spencer is considered the "de-facto leader" of the group after Alison's disappearance/death.  She is intelligent, extremely ambitious, determined and extremely wealthy.  Comes from the Hastings family, a family of over-achievers.

  Aria Montgomery

Main Character from Season 1 - 4

Aria was the artsy and alternative girl in Alison's clique prior to her disappearance, sporting pink hair streaks.  Alison was actually nice to this little liar prior to her disappearance/death.

 Hanna Marin

(Portrayed by Ashely Benson Twitter) 
Main Character from Season 1 - 4

 The new "It" girl after Alison's disappearance/death.  Was nicknamed "Hefty Hanna" and mocked by Alison as she used to be overweight.  Ever since Alison's disappearance, Hanna have taken Alison's place as the most popular girl in Rosewood High.

Emily Fields

(Portrayed by Shay Mitchell Twitter) 
Main Character from Season 1 - 4

The “Jock” of the group.  Competitive swimmer and considered star of Rosewood swim team.  Of the liars, Emily is described as caring, sweet and loyal.  She cares more about others than for herself.  Alison's disappearance/death hit Emily the hardest due to her secret.

Alison DiLaurentis

Main Character from Season 1 - 4

It's all about her...all about Alison.  The "It" girl and "Queen Bee" of Rosewood High.  Every girl want to become her and everyone wants to be friends with her....or do they??  Alison is  pretty, manipulative, secretive, devilish and vindictive. Despite her bad behaviour towards people, she could also make them feel very special.  So what leads to her disappearance/death??

English teacher starting at Rosewood High one year after Alison's disappearance/death.  Met Aria and became romantically involved with Aria after the two met at a bar and instantly bonded until he found out afterwards that she was in fact one of his students.

Caleb Rivers

Caleb is a street smart kid who hacks computers/phone to make money.  Becomes Hanna's protective, loyal and supportive boyfriend.

Mona was bullied by Alison for being a nerd but later turned into the "It" girl along with new bestie Hanna at Rosewood High after Alison's disappearance/death.  Later on in the series, Mona is labelled as a Liar after screenshot of "A" shows a Mona doll joining the rest of the Liars.

Maya moved into Alison's old house after her disappearance/death.  Maya and Emily began to bond and the two soon began to develop romantic feelings for each other which eventually led to a kiss at a party.  First girlfriend and true love of Emily's.  Maya is the one who helped Emily come to terms with her own sexuality.

Paige McCullers
