Borned as Aahoo Jahansouz Shahi (آهو جهانسوز سارا شاهی) [that's Persian btw] on 10/01/1980.
Adopted the name "Sarah" after hearing the song 'Sarah' as she was bullied in school in the 2nd grade. (Damn those bullies)
I fell in love with this lady when I was watching "The L Word" (Yes, I watched it....and I'm still pissing off at Shane for leaving Sarah's character Carmen at the altar. Not cool man, not cool!!!)
Sarah played a lesbian DJ on The L Word, what attracted me to her character was she was determined to fight for what she believes in, what she loves and is not afraid to set other people straight so that they can live a life that they should live. And OMG, she is so HOT in the series too. (FYI, I literally stopped watching The L Word after Carmen left the series at the end of Season 3)

Alright, enough about The L Word....think by now you all know Sarah Shahi was in the series.
The next series I'm totally hooked in which also have Sarah Shahi is "The Person of Interest"
I have always been a fan this show and it made it even more entertaining when they introduced Sarah to the show. First it was only as guest appearance in Season 2, but then she was promoted to series regular for Season 3. Apparently Sarah signed a 4 yr contract to be on the show (woohoo)
Sarah plays Samantha Shaw, is a former operative for the U.S. Army Intelligence Support Activity (ISA). Her character is described as having 'Axis II Personality Disorder', meaning she has little concern for her victims, along with a flat affect and few demonstrable emotions. She is seen as cold-blooded and a total badass!! I love this character to bits. The more we learn about her character and the character's history, I kinda see a bit of her character in me. NEVER TRUST ANYONE. I totally love the character Shaw and how Sarah portrays it. It makes her character and her acting even more realistic as she does her own stunts. Oh, and her character's awesome 1-liners. I seriously watch this show now just for her. I end up fast forwarding until she has a scene.
And I want those arms of hers. Whatever training she received for this series (I recall an interview, she said she does boxing and some army training), I want to know it cos I can't believe how toned she has become.

So...bottom line of why I love this lady??
I have seen in interviews and Sarah is not shy to speak her mind. If the words fit the moment, why censor it?? Just spray it when you feel like it. Sarah is really straight-forward when it comes to question and answers. You can tell she don't like to bullshit around the topic...to the point. (I guess I relate to her in some of her traits, and also her character traits, that's why I love her)
And of course, I love her in the portrayal of all her characters. I'm gonna start watching "Life" and "Fairly Legal". Her acting skills are certainly up to another level since The L Word.
